First of all, there's really no such thing as overkill when it comes to epoxy floor coatings. There is absolutely no downside to overrated epoxy on your floor. The worst thing you can do is apply an underrated epoxy to your floor; that leads to a guaranteed failure, costly downtime, and a diamond grind do-over. It's one of the main reasons you read about epoxy floor failures. Now, having said that, would we advise you to use it in your garage with just everyday passenger parking? Absolutely not, but you could if you wanted the toughest garage floor possible. If you have large forklifts, high forklift traffic, large aircraft, trucks, buses and/or rubber-tracked equipment on your floor, then the heavy-tonnage system is not overkill at all. We even recommend it where there is an extremely high volume of foot traffic, such as in stadiums or theme parks. These are the main applications for use. It's also used in 24/7/365 operations where there's little to no downtime. This is when you need our heavy-tonnage epoxy durability. It's basically indestructible and will outlast any other coating you can apply to your floor. We tested the first batch we made of this in our warehouse by driving our forklifts with the forks pointed down onto the floor with no effect on the coating at all, just to put its toughness into perspective.
