The commercial epoxy system consists of two layers, including our high-performance primer, which is really an epoxy that we thin down so it penetrates deeper into the slab. That's followed by the commercial heavy-duty topcoat that has a very low abrasion loss rating of 8 mgs. It is rated for forklift traffic and small aircraft traffic; it's also used in residential applications for workshop garages or for customers who don't want a color flake finish. The Industrial system uses the same primer, followed by our high-build, military-grade 100% solids epoxy, then our clear military-grade topcoat with a very durable 4 mg abrasion loss rating is the final third layer; the lower the abrasion number, the better. Many epoxies marketed as heavy-duty or industrial-grade have abrasion ratings over 20 mgs and as high as 40 mg, which make them unsuitable for anything but light foot traffic.
