The flakes are broadcast by hand after the epoxy is rolled, so how many you use — from full coverage to a light scatter to none at all — is entirely up to you. A solid-color Armor Chip floor with the clear topcoat is a clean, showroom look (there's one in the image gallery). The flakes do add texture and hide dust between cleanings, which is why most customers use them. Or you can just use our Small Format Commercial Epoxy System that has the same solid color primer and topcoat.
