A full-size 6.5-ft bed runs roughly 85–100 sq ft including the floor, walls, and tailgate, so at the 120 sq ft/gal spread rate, one 1-gallon kit covers a standard bed with a little margin. Short beds and cab floors need less; 8-ft flatbeds and dump bodies, measure it out — length × width for the floor plus the wall areas — and step up to the 5-gallon kit for multiple vehicles.
