f the old coating is well-bonded, you can coat directly over it — sand it clean and dull, then use our Epoxy Bonding Primer, which creates permanent adhesion between old and new. Grind off only the areas that are peeling or delaminated. Full removal is only necessary when the old coating is failing across most of the floor.
