Yes, unless our spec says it immersion rated for your chemical or acid — resistant means the coating survives exposure that would destroy other floors, not that spills should live there permanently. Clean up per your normal protocols, especially strong oxidizers and concentrated acids; the coating buys you time and protection, and good housekeeping maximizes its lifespan. What changes with a Novolac floor is that a spill is now a cleanup event instead of a concrete repair event.
