Two different exposures, two answers. Battery rooms with VRLA or wet-cell strings should get the acid-resistant epoxy (in Related Products below) in that zone — electrolyte drips etch standard coatings and bare concrete over time. Glycol and water from cooling loop leaks are no threat to the standard coating — spills sit on top and wipe up — and a coated floor makes leak detection faster since nothing soaks in.
