Both work over sound existing surfaces with the right prep — previously painted block or drywall gets cleaned, scuff-sanded, and any loose or peeling paint removed first, so the epoxy bonds to something solid. Bare drywall should be primed before coating. If your existing paint is failing across large areas, call us before ordering and we'll walk through whether to strip or prime.
