For pipe, use this formula: diameter in inches × 0.262 = sq ft of surface per foot of pipe, then multiply by the length of the run in feet. Example: 300 ft of 8" pipe = 8 × 0.262 × 300 = about 630 sq ft. Divide your total by the coverage rate per coat and multiply by two coats for the full 24-mil build.
