Both epoxy finishes resist incidental battery acid drips, solvents such as brake cleaner and all vehicle fluids — wipe them up with no harm to the finish. If you have a dedicated battery bench or charging area with regular acid exposure, tell us when ordering: we offer an acid-resistant topcoat that can be applied in just that zone for full protection.
