For a weekend tinkering-type workshop, you can use the standard Armor Chip or Armor granite kits as is, upgrading to the military-grade topcoat is never a bad idea either. If you use your garage for automotive work, we would recommend the military topcoat for sure, and the primer if the budget allows for it. For wood shops with heavy rolling table saws and tool chests, we would go with military topcoat and primer if possible. For light woodworking, the standard kits are fine, but again, the military-grade topcoat is always a good investment.
