Yes, we would strongly recommend using a primer for your application; it will provide a thicker overall finished coating with a higher level of adhesion. We would also recommend you use the Military Grade Topcoat. It's a hardened version of the standard topcoat that provides maximum scratch and wear resistance for larger and off-road vehicles. Plus, you only need to apply one coat versus two coats of the standard topcoat.
