Epoxy can withstand outdoor weather if it's a UV-proof coating such as Polyaspartic. Prolonged exposure to sunlight and moisture can cause it to yellow, chalk, or degrade standard epoxies and UV-resistant coatings over time. For best results outdoors, use an epoxy specifically formulated for exterior use. UV-resistant topcoats often recommended are not a good choice for long term durability.
