We manufacture polyureas ourselves, so we know exactly what they are and what they're not. Compared to a cheap water-based, single-layer hardware store epoxy? Sure, nearly anything is dramatically stronger. Compared to a multi-layer 100% solids military-grade epoxy system with a urethane wear topcoat? No — not in thickness, not in impact resistance, not in the abrasion ratings that actually determine how long a floor lasts. Polyureas are genuinely excellent for certain applications, and we're happy to tell you when one is the right choice. Just don't buy one for your garage because of a '20x stronger' claim comparing it to the worst epoxy money can buy.
