Cure time involves several things. It's the time a coating takes to dry to the point where it can be topcoated with another coating and the time it takes to reach full strength. These are two different things. When a coating cures to the point you can press your thumb into it without leaving a fingerprint, that's the point in time you can apply the next layer of coating. However, even though the epoxy is dry to the touch, it doesn't mean it's fully dried internally. It takes anywhere from 2-4 days to reach full chemical cure. For garage applications, your final topcoat will be dry enough in about 5-8 hours to walk on and put all your stuff back in the garage. We recommend keeping the car off the floor for 2-3 days.
