Yes, it can be coated over with any of our Novolac Epoxy kits, any non-Novolac epoxy kit, or left as a stand-alone repair. This versatility gives you flexibility in finishing and enhancing the repaired surface as you see fit. We would say that applying a non-Novolac epoxy or paint over this product defeats the purpose of it. If you need a highly acid-resistant patch, you should use an equivalent-rated coating over it.
