To test for moisture, tape a 4’ × 4’ piece of plastic sheeting to the slab, sealing all edges, and leave it for 24–48 hours. If moisture is present under the plastic, your slab has a moisture issue and you’ll need a different product. This test helps ensure that the epoxy will adhere correctly and last.
